Writing Prompt: A Top Gun Tale

The original Top Gun movie was released in 1986. The F-14 Tomcat is a museum piece now. But, Top Gun is coming back to the theatres with a new installment. You can almost see the afterburners and hear the faint echoes of the Kenny Loggins' Danger Zone theme song.

Revvin' up your engine
Listen to her howlin' roar
Metal under tension
Beggin' you to touch and go

Highway to the Danger Zone

Ride into the Danger Zone

Headin' into twilight
Spreadin' out her wings tonight
She got you jumpin' off the deck
Shovin' into overdrive

Highway to the Danger Zone!
